Summercamp brings together participants from France, Germany, Iceland and Portugal! It is a space which values inclusion and diversity, community power, personal development and empowerment amongst LGBTQI youth.
In partnership with Erasmus+, the french organisation MAG Jeunes LGBT and its partners: Lambda, Q and Rede Ex aequo, are collaborating to organise a Summercamp for the first time in France! This unique event will take place from the 11th to the 18th of August 2019 and will welcome over 50 LGBTIQ participants of ages 18 to 27 years old.
This is an exceptional experience which encourages LGBTQI youth to empower themselves in an inclusive space! It is an opportunity for participants to forge links with other LGBTIQ youth from four different european countries.
With focus on culture, sports and empowerment, a wide variety of activities will be readily available throughout the week, including LGBTIQ-themed workshops, cooking, dance, music, theatre, entertainment, games, arts & crafts and disco nights. And in midweek, participants will even have the opportunity to sign-up for a drag contest!
Additionally and for the first time ever, we will also be offering remarkable outdoor activities in the midst of nature in La Bourboule! This includes rock climbing, hiking and biking amongst other fun activities.
